These Terms of Service govern your use of event discovery and notification services provided by Btown Events (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
The Service curates and delivers local event recommendations via email and, if you opt in, SMS text messages. We help you discover concerts, film screenings, art openings, food & drink events, outdoor activities, and more happening in your area.
To receive recommendations you provide your email address. Providing a phone number and opting in to SMS is entirely optional. You are responsible for ensuring the contact information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
By signing up you agree to receive curated event recommendation emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or visiting your preferences page.
If you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Btown Events with event recommendations and reminders.
We use a third-party SMS provider (Twilio) to send messages. Carrier coverage and message delivery are not guaranteed.
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service — delivering personalized event recommendations that match your interests. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@btownevents.com with "Delete my account" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
